    Description

    6x8" Rare vintage original 1920s-30s advertising mirror from Jas. H. Down Studebaker & Texaco. The town is not listed. This looks like it was never used and may have been a salesman sample from the maker, Newton Mfg. of Iowa, a well-known outfit that made advertising premium items throughout the 20th Century. If this is any later than the 1930s, we would be

    , given the 2-digit phone number. The frame is metal. The original string hanger is intact. There are 3 small spots of mirror loss just above the name window. There is also some light streaking in the mirror from age.
