Inscription: Al-Muayyad bi-tayid al-rahman shihab al-dunya wa'l din abu'l muzaffar bayazid shah al-sultan / Nasir amir al-muminin ghawth al-islam wa'l muslimin khallada khalifatahu, mint and date in the margin, Muazzamabad type, date off-flan. Excellent large silver coin. 29mm, 10.85 grams. "The coins of Indian Sultanates" #B-286.
Coins of the short lived Sultan Bayazid are all rare. This coin has a somewhat crystallized silver.
