    Description

    This is silver Rupee minted under the rule of Sher Shah Suri. Based on my research it appears to have been minted sometime between 946-949AH (1539-1542AD). I also believe that it is most likely - but not certain - that the coin was minted in Agra. It is in incredible shape, with what appears to be a few test divots or indentations on its otherwise high relief surface.
