OOAK Bookworms Wedding Cake Topper Keepsake Retro Anthropomorphic Kitsch

Awwww, love is in the air! These little bookworms are ready to take that big step!
Inspired by the season of upcoming bridal events, I wanted to make this one of a kind piece that was whimsical and a fun keepsake. The bookworms are handmade from polymer clay with swarovski crystals eyes. He wear a little plastic top hat and she a lovely short veil with white millinery flowers. Their arms are small green chenille. They are held together by toothpicks but are glued down into the piece due to the nature that they are made up of small clay pieces. The book is polymer clay as well and is mounted on a small moss covered piece of clay to give it the sense of having an outdoor wedding.
The topper was constructed with a small cookie tin w styrofoam, vintage trim, paper, moss, chenille and silk flowers to add softness. Done in baby blues and greens.
A little green paper flower would be where the date can be added.
