This listing is for a coin album containing each of the three emergency issue zinc coins (1, 5, and 10 reichspfennig) minted by the Third Reich from 1940 to 1945.
With the outbreak of WW2 these coins were made from zinc to allow more copper, bronze, and aluminum to be used in the war effort. Each album contains information about these emergency issue coins, and each coin is labeled with the correct denomination. The coins you will receive will come from a variety of different years and mints.
These coins have significant historical value as they are some of the last coins minted by the Third Reich before its collapse in 1945. We have multiples of this item available, and the pictures are representative of what you will receive. Each of these coins has the Nazi Third Reich Eagle atop a swastika with the mintage year on the front, and the denomination and mintmark on the back.
