    Founded by Jalal ud din
    Firuz Khalji
    as the
    second dynasty
    to rule the Delhi Sultanate of India.
    'Ala al din Mohammed II
    was the nephew and son-in-law of Jalal-ud-din.
    In 1296 AD,
    he murdered
    Jalall-ud-din and assumed power as Sultan.
    He continued expanding Delhi Sultanate into South India, with the help of generals such as Malik Kafur.
    He reigned for 20 years.
    He attacked and seized many states.
    He also
    withstood two Mongol raids.
    He was also
    known for his cruelty
    against attacked kingdoms after wars.
