Giant Ephemera Lot - Nearly 25lbs - Advertising, Correspondence, Misc - 1950's

Description

For auction is a large lot of ephemera from the H. S. Swan Co. of Massachusetts.  This huge assortment of correspondence, advertising, magazines, catalogs and more weighs just under 25lbs.  These items date mostly from the early 1950's.  I don't know how many pieces total, too many for me to count.  There are about 70 pieces of mail that are unopened.  I'm not sure what the unopened stuff could be, likely most of it is advertising.  Maybe call it vintage junk mail.  I'm not sure.  Most of the envelopes I did not open, so I'm assuming most of this is advertising or some kind of business related correspondence.  I have tried to present a good mix of what this is with the pictures.  There are a few old price tags, some brochures and just a whole lot of ephemera.  These all came from a collector in Massachusetts.  I do not know anything about the H. S. Swan Co. other than that they must have been in the carpeting, flooring or furniture business.  Any questions let me know and I will try to answer them.  I don't want to misrepresent what all of this could be so I'm just saying it's probably mostly a bunch of old advertising from the H. S.
