Description

Bust facing three-quarters to the right, wearing a tight heardress topped with a crescent and large earrings, swastika in the right field / Sogdian legend xwbw bgy ... ("divine ruler...") around an round two-pronged tamgha. 15mm, 0.81 grams. Shagalov/Kuznetzov are alternative readings of the reverse inscription. None of the few examples of this type known shows the name of the ruler, so the name of this ruler is not known at present.
