Because of age they could be spots / tarnish on the tags. May our may not come off with cleaner.
I have a few of these tags for sale, the ones in the photo are examples of the one you will receive.

These tags were mounted on the concrete slab, at the fuel inlet of the underground storage tanks below the steel cover on ground at Texaco service stations.
They identified the product stored in each tank for fuel delivery personnel.
Measures 3-1/4" x 1-1/2"
Thin brass plate, approx. .044" ("Slightly under 1/16")
Impossible to find these tags unused and in this condition.
