Here's something ultra rare and historic  in Boxing Memorabilia
I'm sure you have all seen autographs from Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom and Max Baer but did you know they joined together for a Theater revue and did skits together?. And this Nightclub Program is from one of those appearances
My mother loved attending Theater in the WW2 war years and post war years. She has a huge collection of restaurant, nightclub and theater menus that she dated in ink and wrote in her beau's name.
This piece is dated Aug 26, 1946
This is labeled a "Knockout Revue"
Featuring these two famous boxers that were pretty good actors as well it seems .
Their show was at Colosimo's Theatre Restaurant - which had its own Mob based checkered past. Colosimos was founding by the boss of the Colosimo Chicago Mob which Al Capone was a part of.
The program for this dinner theater nightclub features other nightclub acts and The two boxers do two Skits. There was 3 shows !! The last one was at 2 am.
The back of the program has the two autographs in pencil.  Also my mothers date in ink - she attended the nightclub with her cousin on a  double date and lists the two mens names that were their dates
A very unique piece for an advanced boxing collector - this is a piece you will most likely never see so don't let it pass you by.
